COHS BLOOD DRIVE TUESDAY, OCT 2 2018!
“If you are 16 years or older and are interested in donating blood, please visit the blood drive table at lunch to turn in a consent form and select a donation time. “
COHS and the Blood Source of Sacramento will be hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018.

Look for signups during both lunches in the quad area. All students must have a SIGNED parent consent form turned in.  For all those who donate: Make sure to Eat/Drink plenty of fluids before donating and bring your photo ID's to the event. FINANCIAL AID NIGHT TUESDAY, OCT 2 2018
This meeting will provide an opportunity for you to learn about the post-secondary (college, trade school) financial aid process and options from an expert in the field. This is a free service.

All seniors and their families should join us on Tuesday, October 2nd at 6:00pm to gain critical insight into the financial aid process for post-secondary programs.  This meeting will specifically provide information on the following topics:

  • The financial aid process in general
  • Accessing and completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Applying for grants and scholarships
  • Timelines for student aid, grants and scholarships

PRELIMINARY SCHOLASTIC APTITUDE TEST (PSAT) FREE TO 10TH GRADE STUDENTS!
By action of the District’s Board of Education to fund this opportunity, and through a unique partnership between the Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD) and the College Board, all EGUSD 10th graders will have the chance to take the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) free of charge on October 10, 2018.Click here for details: PSAT Opportunity Oct 10 2018
