DE TEAM WINS 1ST PLACE!

DE Team to Team
Mr. Chapin’s Driver’s Education (DE) team was one of three schools that took first place in a recent competition sponsored by Allstate Insurance and the Safety Center of Sacramento! This was CO’s second consecutive year in first place! The primary course activities for this event took place during Term 2. On January 22, 2015 Cosumnes Oak High School received a check for $500.00 for the DE team's outstanding performance. Congratulations Mr. Chapin and DE team! Go Wolfpack!

Congratulations Mr. Chapin and Cosumnes Oaks 2016 Teen Safe Drivers on your exquisite driving skills and focused efforts! The COHS Driver Ed Team won $500.00 (a total of $1,000 for 2016 school year) plus received a 4’ x 2’ photo banner which is now on campus display! GO WOLFPACK!

Congratulations Mr. Chapin and the Cosumnes Oaks High School driver education students for winning the $500 1st place prize in the Allstate’s Teen-to-Safe-Driving Campaign!




In the picture with Mr. Chapin and his driver education students, Allstate’s regional representative, Zach Wendell and Christine Davidson, contest organizer from the Bradshaw Road Safety Center.

His driver’s education team has won the Teen-to-Safe Driving campaign three times in a row!

Last year his team won 1st place in Allstate’s 21-Day Challenge of no cell phone use while driving! To date, driver education students have helped COHS to collect $2,000 in contest winnings!

Mr. Chapin is passionate about getting the “safe driving” message out to our student/teenagers; His goal is to encourage them to drive safely on the roads to lower their risks of being involved in vehicle accidents and crashes! . . .The number one killer of teens!

In the last year and a half his driver education team has won the teen-to-teen safe driving campaign twice and the 21-Day Challenge once collecting total winnings of $1,500.00! . . . .  WAY TO GO DRIVER ED TEAM!
