QUALIFICATIONS FOR BECOMING A COHS LC MEMBER!

About Link Crew

  • Link Crew is a program that promotes and provides positive school experiences and assists freshmen in their transition to high school. 
  • Link Leaders are juniors and seniors (this year’s sophomores and juniors) who have been successful at COHS and who are good role models. 
  • Link Leaders will be trained two days in August to work with a crew (group of freshmen) during Freshmen Orientation. They will befriend their crew and meet with them throughout the year.

**  Link Leaders that have room in their schedule will take the two-term Link Crew class **

About the Link Crew Class

Link Crew is a two-term, 10 credit class. The Link Crew class will plan training for and communicate with leaders not in the class, be trained to teach lessons to freshmen advocacy classes, plan monthly freshmen recognition, plan monthly lunch time activities for freshmen, plan social events, organize fundraisers, and participate in lessons/listen to guest speakers to help with their own development and growth in the areas including but not limited to: team building, organization, leadership, communication, and personality profiling. 

Link Crew Applicant

Only apply for Link Crew if:

  • you are a current Sophomore or Junior
  • you have a minimum grade point average of 3.0
  • you communicate well, can confidently lead others, are responsible enough to manage a group, have a solid attendance record, are willing to take risks, have an interest in helping others, are dedicated, are self-directed, and have respect for diverse ideas and personalities.
